Descriptive (ish) Paragraph en français

These are pictures of the "thinking" and "planning" for our class paragraph in FLA.  Students can use these anchor charts to assist them in completing their independent paragraphs.

Google Doodles

In sciences humaines, we have been creating Google Doodles to represent our research about provinces and territories in Canada, with an emphasis on why each province and territory joined confederation. 
The good copies of the doodles are due tomorrow and we will begin presentations on Thursday.

6 Word Memoirs

This week, our classes worked on 6 Word memoirs. Our learning goal for this assignment was to catalyze conversations and spark imaginations by writing a powerful six word stories about war.  Our writing goal was to write for an audience and a purpose and to respect our reader by revising and editing our work.

Our work was displayed in a slide show at our Remembrance Day ceremony today.
